We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Engineering Services Business, for exciting new project work based in Adelaide, South Australia. As part of QinetiQ’s support to our clients, you will be using your skills to support a range of software development projects and tasks. We are looking for motivated and driven individuals who are striving for a career in Project Management and looking to build a career with us in a dynamic team environment.  

As part of this Project Manager role you will be:

• Assisting to define scope and estimating resources for new projects to support bid activity
• Preparing project plans to support delivery 
• Delivering the project in accordance with cost, schedule, requirements and commercial baselines
• Developing project schedules and tracking of performance
• Providing regular reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Identification of risks and issues and effectively managing to closure
• Supporting the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction

To be successful in the role of Project Manager you will require:

• Diploma or equivalent in a Project Management discipline
• Exposure to project management tools and principles  
• Experience in supporting software projects with an understanding of software delivery methodologies is highly desirable
• Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills 
• Analytical skills to identify risks and issues including mitigation strategies
• Excellent time management skills and communication skills
