We are currently looking for Project Managers to join our Advisory Business located in Canberra, ACT to liaise and coordinate on various Projects in Defence.

 

Our ISC team is embedded as a Strategic Partner to Joint Integrated Capabilities Branch and the new Defence Space Command, providing capability development, project management and engineering services. Using a Shared Services approach to support hub & node delivery of project services to our client under a long-term contract, our team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The principles of continuous improvement and flexible delivery underpin our offering and enable the team to rapidly adapt to accommodate the evolving needs of our client.

 

As the Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop artefacts to support program activities
  • Undertake Program Management activities
  • Represent Projects at Defence and Government Forums
  • Provide advice and guidance to decision makers

 

To be successful in the role of Project Manager you will need to bring with you:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as related to Project Management (or equivalent experience)
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of One Defence Capability System/ CLC processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels, with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (Defence writing)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Experience working in Capability Development (desirable)

 

Candidates MUST hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance - NV1

 

Advisory Services
