This is an exciting phase in our history and we are looking for an experienced Maritime Professional to join are consulting team based in Canberra or Adelaide.

As an experienced maritime professional you will bring your defence maritime experience in to this interesting position. You will be a critical part of the development of the Australian future ship capability and will be able to share your knowledge and understanding of operational requirements.
As defence enters this new and exciting era in the development of Navy capability, your experience will feed into the project and requirements management of future naval surface combatants. You will be supporting this program, by
• Providing Project and Requirements Management Support
• Managing the Operational Concept Document (OCD), the Operational Support Intent (OSI) and the Function / Performance Specifications (FPS)
• Understanding the Seaworthiness Requirements
• Developing Capability Assurance Models
You will have operational experience within a defence marine environment, and also experience in Naval capability development projects.
This is a permanent full time position based in Canberra. We would also be interested in hearing from you if you would be interested in relocating to Canberra.
Due to the nature of the position you are required to have a current Australian Defence Security Clearance or be able to reactivate a previously held one.
