The Role

As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of maintenance activities on site including the de-confliction of planned maintenance with trial delivery, the availability of suitable technical support including contractors and Authorised Persons, and financial management and oversight of purchase orders.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll conduct professional customer and contractor engagement; maintaining regular and early visibility and understanding of maintenance status and requirements.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and assistance in the development of maintenance planning schedules and reporting activities
  • Raising and managing all PPM call-off purchase orders each financial year
  • Understanding and chasing work order status; escalating issues and delays through maintenance management route
  • Updating the SAP system with adjustments to maintenance plans and conducting administration duties for maintenance work orders including issuing and assigning the relevant resources and completion/closures
  • Management of customer and helpdesk calls including the logging of information on the SAP system and co-ordination of follow-up actions
  • Filing and archiving all work orders and associated paperwork and process documentation

 

This role is full-time, 37 hours per week and based at our Eskmeals site in Cumbria. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

 

Essential experience of the Business Support Administrator:

  • Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications
  • Customer service background

 

Qualifications of the Business Support Administrator:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration (or similar field) or provide evidence of recent relevant administrative experience in a similar role
