The Role
As a Finance Analysis Manager, you will become an integral member of a dynamic Finance and Governance function, where you’ll be the Finance Business Partner of choice, delivering safely, responsibly, and sustainably for the benefit of all our stakeholders and in support of the strategic growth of the business to deliver operational advantage.

 

Day-to-day, you will own the analysis of Group operational P&L and balance sheet performance providing insight into key performance indicators to drive improved results.

This role will work closely and in collaboration with the wider Group Finance team, sector FP&A teams and the Group portfolio office to drive reporting improvements with a focus on realising benefits such as reduced or eliminated waste, increased productivity, improved quality, and automation (where appropriate).


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for reporting and analysis across all operating profit metrics and key drivers, incorporating improved KPI monitoring to drive Group performance
  • Analyse business metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Oversee the creation of automated reporting that drive efficiency and visibility, including taking the lead on the opportunity to use AI within finance
  • Own the financial reporting element of Oracle implementation, working with the sector teams to drive automation and best practice

 

Essential experience of the Finance Analysis Manager

  • Strong programme and project management skills, recognised as the expert in Reporting. Called on by senior leaders for advice and guidance across the business
  • Strong people, stakeholder and influencing skills, including the ability to operate at a leadership level
  • Confident and articulate with well-developed communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Exceptional Business partnering background

 

Essential qualifications for the Finance Analysis Manager:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough head office with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
