The Role
As the Head of Corporate Real Estate, you will be looking after 40 sites across the UK where there is strategic mix of owned and leased facilities as well as the management of an MOD facility and 3rd party estates.

Day-to-day, you will be a proactive and strategic leader as well as being able to get into the detail. Liasing with various stakeholders both internally and externally.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leverage professional surveying expertise to extract high level insight from complex data and provide a ‘single version of truth’ for the estate and provide a decision-making timeline to ensure timely actions taken to meet key dates
  • Providing metrics into portfolio strategy and commercial narrative for Leadership decision-making
  • Deliver portfolio rationalisation and optimisation to maximise utilisation and ROI throughout the property lifecycle
  • Appoint and direct external agents and 3rd party providers to manage service delivery (e.g. business rates, valuation, agency for disposals and acquisitions, lease renewal, management lettings etc)

 

Essential experience of the Head of Corporate Real Estate

  • Proven track record of delivering professional standards and team structure within fast-paced corporate environment
  • Excellence in board reporting level, persuasive negotiation and high stakes presentation
  • Ability to leverage data-analytics tools to drive evidence-based property decisions
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentational skills capable of translating technical real estate risks into commercial business opportunities

 

Essential qualifications for the Head of Corporate Real Estate:

  • MRICS/FRICS qualified with extensive post-qualification experience in complex commercial portfolios
  • Appropriate Degree in Estate / Property Management or a related discipline
  • Chartered Surveyor with substantial post-qualification experience specialising in commercial asset management

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site and this is hybrid-based role with an average expectation of 3 days per week onsite.
