Sitting within S&T, we have the Q-Works delivery team, a specialist agile team acting as an enabler for growth. Our portfolio is vast and diverse, and can range from; helping our customers to incubate new products, exploring new solutions via relationships with SMEs, and running ground breaking trials with cutting edge technologies. We work with all of the businesses within QinetiQ to enable them to achieve growth across any – and more – of these areas.

 

This position has been created due to exponential portfolio growth, and now is a great time to get involved with this diverse, innovative and exciting delivery team.

 

We welcome applicants with experience from across different industries and backgrounds, and those with a mix of agile and waterfall delivery experience.

Key Accountabilities    

•    Delivery of products, solutions, and IP projects using agile, waterfall, and/or minimum viable product methodologies. 
•    Resolving conflicts within the project and collaborating across QinetiQ.
•    Maintenance of forecasts for sales and delivery. 
•    Reporting progress on all accountabilities to programme / portfolio manager. 
•    Ensuring correct entry and maintenance of data onto all relevant business systems. Operating in a Safe & Secure manner. 
•    Embedding a culture in line with the QinetiQ values.
•    Ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives.
•    Application of governance requirements.

Experience & Qualifications    

•    ~2 years plus of successfully delivering complex projects. 
•    ~2 years plus of working with Agile and or minimum viable products.
•    Hardware and/or software delivery.
•    Experience of traditional waterfall delivery methods
•    Desirable: Agile Scrum Master/Product Owner and/or DSDM Agile Practitioner
