Senior Project Administrator

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Provides project support to projects, programmes and IDTs within the UKI Business


Key Accountabilities:

  • Undertaking tasks and activities, as required, in the delivery of project support to the UKI  business in accordance with the UKI PMO Strategy and QinetiQ Operating Framework
  • Maintaining regular, open and positive lines of communication within the team, with programme and project teams and other key delivery partners
  • Providing reporting support to the Project and Programme Managers – working with the Project Controllers and the Business & Data Analyst
  • Providing support to programme/project areas for the management of information including the creation of SharePoint, LCB or CWE sites.  Setting up file structures, uploading documentation and maintaining version and change control
  • Resolves queries using judgement based on analysis of information and knowledge and experience of processes and services.
  • Monitoring and administrating Programme inboxes, distributing information appropriately
  • Provide support to the UKI EDP Project Controls Lead; Provide support to the EOL (Enterprise on Line) systems by bulk uploading information or invoices.  Monitoring the status of the tools and information and liaising with programme/project teams on identified issues resolving where possible or escalating as required.
  • Provide support to the UKI Products Lead (Project Controller).
  • Provide support to the UKI Framework Management Office.

Person Specification

Essential Education and Qualifications:

Qualified to GCSE level or equivalent

Level 3 or equivalent business administration qualification and/or evidence of equivalent experience.  Working towards a Level 4 qualification/gaining equivalent experience.
