Due to exciting growth of the business, we are currently recruiting a Trials Engineer for our Integrated Engineering Services Division.

 

Reporting to our Engineering Support Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting customer trials.

 

 As Trials Engineer you will be accountable for:

  • Supporting assigned trials as a test engineer before, during and after trial conduct
  • Designing and developing solutions for new or existing (modified) testing capability for assigned trials
  • Reviewing current trial equipment and procedures to ensure it is safe and suitable for service
  • Producing required engineering documentation and technical risk assessments in support of assigned tasks
  • Reviewing engineering documentation and technical risk assessments in support of other engineering tasks where suitable
  • Supporting the commissioning, acceptance and service release requirements for new and existing testing capabilities
  • Updating and maintaining engineering documentation to support ongoing configuration management of testing capabilities

 

 To be successful in the role of Trials Engineer you will need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, electrical, electronic or mechatronic preferred
  • Previous Defence experience in trials and/or experience in Test and Evaluation
  • Willing to work a hybrid working arrangement (splitting time between site and WFH)
  • Experience in planning and scheduling
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the potential to lead and motivate
  • Good interpersonal skills including teamwork, time management and flexibility
