Advisory Services
In our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance, enabling our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.
As part of our support to our Defence, Science and Technology clients, your role as Project Support Officer (PSO) will see you embedded within our customer’s organisation. You will work within a Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the delivery of projects.
As Project Support Officer, you duties will include but not limited to:
- Supporting the delivery of a number of projects in accordance with the approved budget and scope
- Drafting of project management documentation (including plans, reports and briefs)
- Development and maintenance of project schedules
- Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting in project meetings (including taking minutes, developing presentations, and leading discussions)
About you
- Project or program assurance or portfolio management experience (Defence industry and knowledge ideal)
- Understanding of project management methodologies (preferably with an Agile, PMP, MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, PMBOK) or an interest to obtain a similar certification
- Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining professionall relationships
Due to the nature of our work, you'll need to be an Australian citizen and eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
