We are currently seeking an Inventory/ MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) Consultant to join our MSP (Major Service Provider)  division in Brisbane.

 

Our MSP Division, is part of a consortium of independent, technical partners, which include Nova Systems and PwC; supported by a range of specialist SMEs.  We share and support Defence’s commitment to growing and improving Australia’s military capability.  We do this by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).  In doing so we work closely with both uniformed and public service staff to help plan the acquisition and support of advanced military systems and equipment through the provision of rigorous analysis, advice and assurance; we relish solving the unique and challenging problems this work entails. 

 

About the Role

As a valued member of the QinetiQ Operations and Delivery team, you will be working within a multidisciplinary team at RAAF Base in Amberley (nr Ipswich) where you will support acquisition and ongoing inventory management, whilst focussing on the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes and support

 

  • MILIS Profiles for inventory purchase and management.
  • Willing to learn and commit to long term program.
    Ability to work independently, take ownership of their work and the key deliverables for which they are responsible.

     

Our preferred candidate should possess experience in the following;

  • Highly Desirable – COMSARM and MILIS Profiles Inventory controller and Purchasing.
  • CASG or ADF Logistics
  • CASG Acquisition Process, Logistics documents (ILSP), Capability Life Cycle & requirements for each Gate
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Operational Logistics Management
  • MILIS
  • Knowledge of ADF Inventory Management
  • Providing Logistics input into briefs and presentations
  • Identifying Logistics risks
  • Stakeholder engagement
