We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Advisory Business, based in Melbourne.

As part of our support to our clients, your role as Project Manager will be to guide and support them throughout the entire project life-cycle; either in acquisition or sustainment through-life support phases. Embedded within our Customer’s organisation, you will be responsible for supporting the business and project outcomes, implementing the necessary governance, processes, policies, and procedures to support a successful project or program delivery for the end-user.


As a Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the acquisition of the capability in accordance with the approved Procurement Strategy
  • Supporting the team through the development and execution of ASDEFCON Contracts
  • Undertaking evaluation of Requests For Tenders (RFT) and support to Contract Negotiations
  • Supporting the delivery of project outcomes, working closely with Engineering, ILS and Project support teams
  • Drafting and reviewing of Project management documentation, reports and briefs
  • Development and maintenance of Project schedules
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing and distributing project, financial and resource reports


To be successful in the role of Project Manager you will require:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Project Management discipline
  • Project management experience within a large complex acquisition project, or program of projects
  • ASDEFCON or Government Contract Management experience within Australian Government Departments
  • Developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relations to influence and lead decision makers
  • Technical, commercial, industry and management experience, gained within a Defence environment

Applicants MUST be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
