The Role
As a Senior Administrator and a member of UK Security Services, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll act as the Deputy CRYPTO Custodian for Portsdown Technology Park, and undertake a range of Security administration duties across the business.
Day-to-day you'll carry out all Custodian related duties, including (but not limited to) whole life accounting, spot checks, updating holders' orders, carrying out briefings, timely maintenance of mandatory documentation, secure document management and other security admin processes and maintaining compliance with JSP490 at all times.
- Ensure that Holders/Users are competent in the handling and use of cryptographic items
- Act as a focal point for Crypto enquiries at PTP
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external Crypto audits
- Support the wider UK Security Services function and projects when necessary,
- The successful candidate will be required to attend a Crypto Custodian Course
This role is full time and based onsite at Portsdown Technology Park, with travel to complete spot checks at remote holder locations, as and when required.
Skills and experience of the Senior Administrator;
- Experience within Security or other regulated environment (defence organisation would be advantageous)
- Experience of security liaison with key organisations
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Personal attributes must include confidentiality, independence, integrity and energy
- Results focused with a “can do will do” personal style
