Due to recent growth we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Maritime Engineering Services team based in Sydney. You’ll share our values of performance, collaboration and integrity, and our purpose to protect the safety and security of our nation.

In this role you will work autonomously within a team to plan, manage and review outcomes of project scope including the management of time, cost, quality, resources, risk and procurement. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide estimates for project planning, bids and tenders;
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets and schedules against configured baselines;
  • Identify required project resources (includes human, material and facilities);
  • Manage coordination of project team and work group partners (both internal and external)
  • Provision project status reports and progress reviews to either client, Program Manager, Program Director, General Manager or all as required;

To be successful for the role you will require:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Vocational qualification (Diploma) in Project Management
  • Project management experience delivering projects within a complex environment; or
  • Experience in managing teams and influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services to others
  • The ability to lead the planning and coordination of multiple disciplines to ensure projects are effectively planned and resourced
  • Considerable independence in approach and a significant degree of originality, ingenuity and judgement
