Boasting the largest team of highly respected and experienced Explosive Ordnance (EO) acquisition personnel, our consultants work in close partnership with our clients and are embedded within a vibrant team, working on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign defence capability.

 

We are currently looking for an Integrated Project Planner and Scheduler to join our business.

 

Opportunities could be based in either Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane

 

Every day will see you providing project planning, coordinating and scheduling services to ensure specific outcomes are achieved. You’ll be a natural organiser and thrive in a fast paced environment.

 

As an Integrated Project Planner and Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide guidance and support to Stakeholders in their reporting requirements.
  • Managing resource planning and informing workforce planning.
  • Scheduling, risk management and assets under construction.
  • Managing budget allocation and monitoring expenditure through the integrated schedules.
  • Predicting items such as long lead time item ordering, critical path and budget expenditure over financial years.
  • Establishing and maintaining project and program schedules and related documents.
  • Developing or updating governance and assurance processes related to project schedule management.

 

To be successful in the role of Scheduler you will need to bring with you:

  • Demonstrated scheduling experience, ideally using Open Plan Professional (OPP).
  • Working knowledge of Defence project management processes either within Defence or Defence Industry.
  • Ability to perform mentoring and training in OPP.
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to work as part of a fast-moving project team in a dynamic and changing work environment.
  • Good knowledge of Earned Value Management, critical paths and resource allocation within a schedule is essential.
  • The confidence to be a self-starter.
