Opportunities in Operational Analyst Teams

What we are looking for from the Operational Analyst:
 

We are seeking a highly-motivated, self-starting Operational Analysts who are interested in working on a range of interesting and diverse projects such as war gaming. We are looking for individuals with proven experience of working to a high standard within the Defence Sector, spanning research activities and procurement advice within the MOD Acquisition Lifecycle, on complex capability projects.

 

What do the Operational Analyst Team do?

 

  • Developing and presenting analytical approaches and subsequent Operational Analyst evidence to scrutiny and assurance bodies;
  • Leading multi-disciplinary teams in delivering complex projects and programmes;
  • Conducting options analysis using approaches such as, but not limited to, Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA);
  • Conducting Balance of Investment cases that inform problems and business cases;
  • Facilitating workshops and eliciting data and information from different stakeholders;
  • Presenting project outcomes to a range of decision makers;
  • Engaging clients and stakeholders;
  • Business development and winning work;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop technical approaches to problems for submission in proposals to clients;
  • Writing technical reports (including white papers, research papers, project reports and business cases); and
  • Mentoring less experienced members of staff.
