The Role
The Project Manager will join a growing team working on a range of interesting small to medium scale construction projects across our vast estate portfolio. You will play a key role for QinetiQ helping to modernise our sites across the UK and be the focal point for the delivery of key construction and estate management projects. In this role, you will be delivering and managing all phases of both new build and refurbishment projects ensuring they are delivered in a timely and effective manner.

 

Essential experience of the Project Manager:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Planning Application and GPDO process
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations, JSP standard, risk management processes and techniques
  • Experience of the Construction, Design Management (CDM) Regulations and must have acted as client or similar role on a construction related project
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts as well as JCT
  • Experience of working within the Defence/Security industry is desirable but not essential and we are open to applications from various industries

 

This role is full-time, 37 hours per week and we offer flexible, adaptive working options, with typically two to three days working from home. The ability and willingness to travel to various sites is required.
