We are looking to speak to Logistics Support Analysts with a view to  joining our Advisory Services division in Melbourne, which provides key support to Defence (CASG) through the Land MSP (Major Service Provider) program.

 

Our MSP Division, is part of a consortium of independent, technical partners.   We share and support Defence’s commitment to growing and improving Australia’s military capability, by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). 

 

Land Systems Division, has one of the largest defence projects and is the single point of accountability for both acquisition and through-life-materiel support for designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).  This division is responsible for delivery of a diverse range of capabilities to support 'raise, train and sustain' requirements and operational deployments. LSD supported systems include but are not limited to: combat support vehicles and systems, field vehicles, commercial vehicles, small arms, direct fire weapons support, surveillance systems, engineering and workshop equipment. Activities include development, acquisition, fleet management and through-life support of allocated land systems

 

The role of the Logistics Support Analyst is to provide Specialist review of LSAR Contract Deliverables and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) deliverables and provide support advising the stakeholder group to ensure the LSA and LSAR outputs are in line with Defence Standards.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the migration of Logistics Support Analysis 
  • Ensure Logistics Data Elements Descriptions (DEDs) meet contractual requirements;
  • Assist in review, accepting and monitoring of LSAR drops for each variant are of a suitable standard;
  • Assist with the review of contract deliverables, and assist in the transfer of knowledge and experience from lessons learnt.
  • Review ILS Acquisition Deliverables for each variant Mandated System Reviews

 

Our ideal candidate will present with;

  • Highly desirable to be experienced in the use of the software tool eMRD, Omega PS or similar
  • Understanding of and application of:
    • DEF (AUST) 5691 Logistic Support Analysis.
    • DEF(AUST) 5692 Logistic Support Analysis Record Requirements for the Australian Defence Organisation.
    • MIL-STD-1390D Level of Repair Analysis.
    • MIL-STD-1629A Procedures for Performing a Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis.

 

Candidates must hold a current Australian Government security clearance.
