What do our Systems Engineers do?
QinetiQ's Systems Engineers are renowned both for leading and supporting development of our own range of world-leading products and for providing high quality, independent advice to a wide range of customers in support of their major acquisition programmes. We are looking for people to join our established capability who are interested in applying and developing their systems engineering competencies across a number of domains, both military and commercial.

We have opportunities to work as Systems Engineers in the following areas:
- Product Development (full lifecycle)
- Navigation including Ground Segment Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
- Electronic Warfare
- National Security
- Radar
- Communications & Information Systems (particularly in the military and security/cyber environments)
- Customer-Friend, Acquisition or Subject Matter Expert (SME) Advice:
- Consultancy and Business Analysis
- Through-life engineering (design, planning, management)
- Research & Innovation
- Application of Systems Engineering principles across the lifecycle
- Leading engagement with customers and developing new propositions
- Service Delivery
Opportunities exist to work on and develop projects for Defence, other Government Departments, in the Commercial Sector and Internationally.

Security
Please note that many roles in QinetiQ are subject to national security vetting. Applicants who already hold the appropriate level of vetting may be able to transfer it upon appointment, subject to approval.
