Headquartered in Nowra, New South Wales, QinetiQ Air Affairs provides targets and training services, and electronic warfare capabilities to the Australian Defence Force, in addition to aerial surveillance and reconnaissance in support of government firefighting efforts. Air Affairs owns and operates a fleet of special mission aircraft and maintains an advanced manufacturing and engineering facility providing design, manufacture and certification operations.

We are now taking expressions of interest for future opportunities within our QinetiQ Air Affairs team in Nowra.

Our Nowra based facility hosts a number of business units that cover a number of technical and non-technical areas. We are now taking expressions of interest from anyone looking to be notified as roles and opportunities become available.

With such a variety of opportunities we are keen to hear from you if you are;

• Trade Qualified or,
• Have aircrew, pilot or drone / UAV experience or,
• Have a current defence clearance and relevant defence experience or,
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment or,
• Have experience in warehousing, logistics or supply chain or,
• Looking for an opportunity with a global company in the Illawarra region.

As our ideal candidate you will bring;

• Defence, Aerospace or Aviation Experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to grow your career within a defence environment

You will be provided with a career in a global company that provides ongoing support and career development. We support both defence and government customers in critical roles across the country.  

Due to the nature of our work only Australian Citizens who are willing to gain and hold a defence security clearance are eligible for roles with QinetiQ Air Affairs.
